Sujay Muzumdar

Sujay Muzumdar is an Associate in the India team for Affirma Capital and is based out of Mumbai.

Sujay has over 5 years of experience across Investment Banking and Private Equity. At Affirma, he is responsible for evaluating and analyzing new investment opportunities across sectors. He is also actively involved in managing portfolio companies in the Technology and Healthcare sectors.

Prior to Affirma, Sujay was working with Multiples Private Equity, one of India’s largest domestic funds. At Multiples, Sujay worked across Pharma, Healthcare, Consumer and EV sectors. He played an end-to-end execution role in one of India’s earliest and largest transactions in the EV space.

Prior to Multiples, Sujay was a part of Investment Banking division at J.P. Morgan where he actively covered Healthcare and Industrials sectors in the APAC region.

Sujay holds a double Masters degree – MBA from MDI Gurgaon, and M.S. Economics from BITS Pilani. Sujay also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from BITS Pilani.
